Bridge of Spies

For a generation born in the cold war era, of the two superpowers – USSR and USA, this movie will definitely strike a chord.

A Spielberg movie, promises and delivers on three aspects, superb acting, excellent soundtrack and meticulously captured details !

Marathi cinema continues to pleasantly surprise you !

KKG was on my list, having been a regular visitor of Marathi Sahitya Sangh at Charni Road, during my school years, had heard of the play but not viewed it.

Shankar Mahadevan’s confident debut as an actor is good, but it is Sachin Pilgaonkar who steals the show. Surprisingly the media was full of Shankar’s debut but had not given equal amount of ink to Sachin.

Frankly it is difficult to believe that this is the director’s debut film, it’s a milestone achievement for the director and has set the benchmark quite high for himself.

It is so well shot, acted and such an excellent musical score, that one gets mesmerized by the flow, and the length does not for once distract you at all.

A must watch !
